Post 2: Enjoy

There are always going to be bad days, but without them we wouldn't recognize the good ones. Everyone has those moments of pure doubt and anger because they feel that the world is against them and nobody cares. Whether you have a loving family or not, there is always someone who cares about you. A grandparent, a sister or brother, a friend or simply a guardian angel.

So many good things happen and that is the reason to keep going on with life, whether it be getting an A on a test or just hearing your name congratulated, those moments should fill up your soul so you can strive to excel in everything that you do. Do not lose faith in yourself because life is too short to not put effort into it. Be the bigger person and enjoy life. If you are feeling doubtful, tell yourself that you can do it, breathe and categorize your schedule to prevent overwhelming drawbacks.

Post 1: Stress

Everyday I get overwhelmed to the point of crying from stress. I have tried a lot of things like listening to calming music, taking a hot bath, anything. Nothing seemed to work, I still was staying awake thinking about everything I screwed up on. Finally I found a reasonable and helpful solution. I organized my belongings first, because I felt claustrophobic inside my room. Then I started doing yoga, I got into zen and do it every night an hour before bed. I let that empty my head and calm myself down. If I still found myself freaking out as I lied awake, I tried to lose myself in a fantasy world of mine involving all my favorite topics and hobbies.

During the day, I would go to a quiet room and close my eyes. The room would always be dark and I could enclose myself in it until I started to breath normally. Stress comes to me every hour of the day.  In the hectics of my dance classes, failing classes, bullies, fighting families, and friends. I use these tools to stay calm and happy.
